Mike is happy to have escaped the hustle and bustle of California for the small-town atmosphere of Northern Michigan. A recent retiree from the U.S. Navy, where he served aboard submarines and with the Deep Submergence Unit. His travels have taken him from Southeast Asia to the North Pole and all ports and various watering holes in between. Mike's varied hobbies include astronomy and astrophotography, wood working, and model-building.
